Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Keepsy app and related services ("Keepsy", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Lisnara Studio. Keepsy lets you save short-form videos from public sources and organizes them into a searchable personal library. By creating an account or using Keepsy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Keepsy, you confirm that you are able to enter into these Terms and agree to be bound by them, along with our Privacy Policy. If you use Keepsy on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for them.

2. Eligibility

Keepsy is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). You must meet that minimum age to create an account or use the service.

3. Licence to use Keepsy

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Keepsy for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse-engineer, scrape, or build a competing service from the app, or attempt to access it in ways we don't intend.

4. Your content and saved videos

You are responsible for the links and videos you choose to save and for ensuring you have the right to save them. You retain ownership of the content you add (such as your notes, collections, and lists). You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content back to you and to power the features you use (such as transcription, extraction, search, and chat).

Keepsy saves information about public videos so you can find them again and links back to the original source; we do not host or rebroadcast the original videos. You must not use Keepsy to save or distribute content you are not permitted to, or that is illegal or infringes others' rights.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and auto-renewal

Keepsy is free to use with limits, and offers optional paid subscription tiers and one-time save packs. Subscriptions are billed through your app-store account (Google Play or the App Store) at the price shown at purchase, and renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device's system subscription settings. One-time packs are non-recurring and do not auto-renew.

6. Rewarded ads and save allowance

You may be able to watch an optional rewarded ad (via Google AdMob) to earn additional saves, subject to daily limits. You agree not to abuse, automate, or manipulate the save allowance or the rewarded-ads system. Ads are subject to Google's advertising policies.

7. Refunds

Payments are processed by the app stores, and refunds are handled according to the applicable store's policy. We are generally unable to issue refunds directly for store purchases; please use your app store's refund process.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Keepsy to break the law, infringe others' rights, save or distribute illegal or harmful content, abuse the save allowance or rewarded-ads system, or interfere with the operation, integrity, or security of the service or the services of the platforms videos are saved from.

9. Intellectual property

Keepsy, including its software, design, branding, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the app or our intellectual property to you. Third-party content you save remains the property of its respective owners.

10. AI features and disclaimers

Keepsy uses automated and AI systems to transcribe videos and extract details, summaries, and search results. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date and should not be relied on as professional (for example, medical, legal, financial, or safety) advice. Keepsy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the availability of any third-party content you save.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of Keepsy. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the service over time. For material changes we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice; your continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. You may stop using Keepsy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Keepsy, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
